- Each chew is equivalent to 1.25g of Joint Guard powder
- For animal treatment only
- It is necessary to initiate treatment at double the maintenance dose in order to "load up" the body with therapeutic levels of the active ingredients, gradually for the first 4-6 weeks
- At this point, the dose can gradually be reduced overtime to find the lowest possible amount that will keep the dog comfortable
- Joint Guard may provide a joint protective effect when used alone as a daily dose, and is a very useful adjunctive therapy for existing joint damage when used in conjunction with Pentosan 100
- Not recommended as an alternative treatment in acute joint inflammation
