Indications – may be prescribed to nutritionally manage:

Primary Indications:

  • Weight loss & maintenance in cats with concurrent feline lower urinary tract disease (FLUTD):
    • Feline idiopathic cystitis (FIC)
    • Reduce recurrence of calcium oxalate (CaOx), calcium phosphate, & struvite uroliths

Other Indications:

  • Struvite dissolution
  • Diabetes in normal weight, mildly overweight, or obese cats


  • Patients with concurrent use of urinary acidifiers
  • Growing kittens
  • Pregnant or nursing cats


Meat and animal derivatives (chicken 27%), derivatives of vegetable origin, various sugars, vegetables, oils and fats, eggs and egg derivatives, cereals, vegetable protein extracts, minerals, milk and milk derivatives

Feeding Guide

  • Feed only this food
  • It is recommended that a veterinarian's opinion be sought before use
  • For an efficient weight loss or ideal weight maintenance, the recommended daily energy intake should not be exceeded
  • A transition period when starting the diet is advised 
  • Fresh water should be available at all times 

Mixed Feeding

  • For Weight Loss: 1 pouch with 30g kibble OR 2 pouches with 10g kibble
  • For Weight Maintenance: 1 pouch with 55g kibble OR 2 pouches with 35g kibble 

Recommended time of use:

  • Dissolution of struvite stones: 5 to 12 weeks
  • Reduction of struvite stone recurrence: initially up to 6 months
  • Reduction of oxalate stones formation: up to 6 months
  • Weight loss: until target body weight is achieved and after, if required to maintain the target body weight
