Indications
- For the treatment and prevention of flea infestation (Ctenocephalides spp)
- effective on all life stages of fleas
- kills re-infestations with newly acquired adult fleas for at least 1 month after treatment
- kills adult fleas within 12 hours of application
- prevents the development of flea eggs, larvae and pupae produced by any adult fleas acquired for up to 3 months after treatment
- For the control of brown dog tick (Rhicpicephalus sanguineus) for up to 1 month after application
- kills ticks within 48 hours of application
- For the control of paralysis tick (Ixodes holocylus) for up to 2 weeks after application
- kills ticks within 48 hours of application
- For the control of biting lice (Trichodectes canis)
- Aids in the control of sarcoptic mange (Sarcoptes scabiei var. canis)
- May be used in the treatment and control of Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD)
Controls fleas and breaks the flea cycle on your pet and in your home
- Contains two main ingredients – fipronil and (s)-methoprene - both ingredients protect pets from harmful flea infestation.
- Fipronil directly attacks adult fleas and ticks
- (S)-methoprene is an insect-growth regulator - it inhibits growth of flea eggs or flea larvae and stops them from developing adult fleas, preventing re-infestation of your pet and home, and breaking the flea life cycle
- The product is fast acting and long-lasting
- After application, the product spreads over the coat within 24 hours, collecting in the hair follicles and oils of the skin, it is then continuously released from the hair follicles onto the skin and coat
- It is waterproof so it is effective even if the pet swims or bathes
- Can be used on puppies from 8 weeks of age
- Safe to use on breeding, pregnant or lactating animals

Directions For Use
- Read inner carton panels for full instructions
- For use on puppies from 8 weeks of age
- DO NOT USE on rabbits
- Break off the snap-off top from the pipette along the scored line
- Choose an area where licking cannot occur e.g. on the back of the neck
- Part the coat until the skin is visible
- Place the pipette on the skin and squeeze several times to empty its contents directly on to the skin
- Take care to avoid excessive wetting of the hair as this will leave a sticky appearance of hairs at the treatment spot. However, if this should occur, it will disappear within 24 hours after application
Treatment Frequency
- Fleas: Monthly application is recommended
- All animals in the household should be treated at the same time (For household cats, use FRONTLINE Plus for Cats)
- It is especially important to treat all household animals if any pet is allergic to fleas (flea allergy dermatitis)
- Paralysis Tick: Two weekly application is recommended
- While FRONTLINE Plus provides control of paralysis ticks for up to 2 weeks, use of this product does not guarantee prevention of tick paralysis because ticks are not killed immediately after attachment
- Daily searching of dogs is necessary to minimise the risk of tick paralysis
- Searching should continue throughout the paralysis tick season, which extends from Spring to Autumn, but may be year-round in some localised areas
- See your veterinarian for advice on searching techniques and tick seasonality
- Brown Dog Tick: Monthly application is recommended
- Sarcoptic Mange Mites: Aids in control
- Multiple monthly treatments are recommended for the elimination of mites
- Biting Lice: Treat all household dogs at the same times
Safety Directions
- Will irritate the eyes and skin
- Avoid contact with eyes and skin
- If product enters eyes, wash it out immediately with water
