Save a Horse Australia has been going for 10 years but self funded until 2009 when we applied to be a registered charity. We are now the only fully registered and sanctioned horse rescue charity in QLD that helps all breeds of horses as our primary objective. We rescue abused, neglected, unwanted and slaughterbound horses rehabilitating them and rehoming them under life time adoption contracts.
