All animals are held in foster care and are wormed, flea/tick treated, immunised, desexed, microchipped and lifetime registered in NSW prior to being offered for adoption.  Dogs also receive an annual heartworm injection. 

Mutts and Moggs is totally self-funded and operated solely by volunteers.  The organisation has no office, shelter, ambulance or veterinary facilities.  All activities are co-ordinated from the homes of the voluntary Management Committee.
