Capricorn Animal Aid (CAA) is a charity that rescues abandoned cats and dogs in the Rockhampton and surrounding areas. We rely on the generosity of our volunteers and members of the community to fund our vital work as we receive no government funding.
The objectives for which CAA was established in 1998 are:
• To provide the necessary care and attention, including veterinary care, shelter and food to unwanted, stray, neglected and abused animals, and to rehouse these animals.
• To provide a ‘lost and found’ service to the community.
• To assist the community in desexing of animals.
• To support other animal welfare organisations.
