- For use as an aid in the management of diarrhoea in cats and dogs

- Veterinary advice should be sought for pets that exhibit signs of illness other than diarrhoea, including blood-stained faeces, or if diarrhoea persists after 3 days of treatment with this product
Direa Tablets – How do they Work?
- Direa tablets contain a complexing or bulking agent called crospovidone that absorbs toxins and water from the gut to form a protective gel, thereby slowing and reducing the severity of the diarrhoea.
- Crospovidone is not absorbed through the gut wall and is chemically and biologically inert
Contains: Direa For Dogs and Cats 50 Tablets x 2
Dose Rates:
- Administer twice per day for 2-4 days or until symptoms disappear
- Dogs – 1 tablet per 10-20 kg
- Cats – ¼ tablet per 2.5-5kg

General Instructions
- The product can be used as an aid in the management of diarrhoea caused by disorders of osmosis, secretion, permeability or notibly, brought about by infectious agents, food poisoning, dietary changes and bacterial overgrowth
- It is not a motility modulator
- It is a complexing agent that absorbs toxins but also absorbs water to form a gel
- Crospovidone is chemically and biologically inert
- Direa tablets can be used alone, or in conjunction with antibiotics and fluid and electrolyte therapy
- Rehydration therapy should not be neglected
- Ensure your pet has adequate fluids
