D-Scour Paste For Horses Cattle And Livestock Is A Natural Way To Aid In The Treatment And Control Of Scour In Horses And Other Animals
- A non-antibiotic, concentrated multi-strain probiotic with garlic extract, designed to help treat and control scour in horses, foals/ponies, cattle, calves, sheep, goats, lambs/kids, pigs, and piglets
Active Constituents
- Each gram contains: 180 million CFU as: Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus delbrueckii subspecies bulgaricus, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Bifidobacterium bifidum, Enterococcus faecium, Streptococcus salivarius subspecies thermophilus and 20 mg Garlic Extract (Allium sativum)
Indications
- Formulated to control scours through the action of selected natural live micro-organisms (probiotics) combined with a natural, powerful antimicrobial
- Ideal to use at first signs of stress (during pregnancy, lactation, temperature extremes, transportation, medication, infection, following antibiotic use, weaning, and worming)
Contraindications
- Should not be used in conjunction with Penicillins, Cephalosporins, Tetracyclines, Avoparcin, Gentomycin, Lincomycin, Streptomycin, Tiamulin or Tylosin, but may be used immediately following these antibiotics
Benefits
- Presented as an oral paste in a dial-a-dose syringe
- The paste is natural and does not contain any chemicals or antibiotics
- The probiotics and the antimicrobial attack the micro-organisms responsible for the scouring without affecting the beneficial bacteria inside the gut of the animal - this is important when treating animals with intestinal disease caused by E. coli, Rotavirus or Candida spp. and microbial-mediated diseases of the urogenital tract
- The formula works to support the gastrointestinal microflora
- Garlic has nutritional and medicinal properties and contains an active antimicrobial – alliin
