Blue Planet pH Down For Freshwater Fish Aquariums Reduces Alkalinity To Keep Your Fish Safe And Healthy

Active Ingredient:

  • 1000g/kg Sodium Phosphate Monobasic

Designed to reduce alkalinity and increase acidity in freshwater aquariums

  • Effectively adjusts and maintains the ideal pH level
  • By reducing the alkalinity, it helps to create an optimal pH range that is essential for the health and well-being of your fish and other aquatic organisms
  • Easy to use - simply add 1 tablespoon of powder per 100L of tank water, first dissolved in a small cup of aquarium water, then add to a flowing area of your aquarium
  • As you gradually adjust the pH level, it is important to regularly monitor the water parameters using a reliable pH test kit to ensure you achieve the desired range
  • It is crucial to make incremental changes to the pH level over time, allowing your fish to acclimate gradually and minimizing stress
  • Australian made

Note

  • Please note that it is important to follow the instructions provided and consult with a veterinarian or aquatic specialist for specific guidance on adjusting the pH level in your aquarium, as different fish species may have varying pH requirements
  • Regular water quality testing and monitoring are also essential to ensure a stable and healthy environment for your aquatic pets

Directions

  • Add approximately 1 tablespoon of powder per 100 litres of tank water, first dissolving into a small cup of aquarium water, then added to the aquarium in an area of high flow
  • Add a sufficient quantity of pH Down to aquarium water to achieve a neutral or desired reading
  • Accurate pH levels can be obtained by testing the aquarium water with a Blue Planet pH Test Kit after the addition of pH UP until desired reading is achieved
  • Check the change of pH value 1 hour after application of pH Up
  • Repeat the process up to 3 times per day, testing in between

Note

  • As aquarium water chemistry varies depending on pollution levels, dissolved organic waste and carbonate hardness, it may take several times to get the right pH level
  • Please allow a few days to alter pH values over a large scale
  • An aquarium with no fish or live plants present can be altered quickly
