API PH Up For Fish Aquarium Makes Water More Alkaline By Increasing The pH
- The pH Up adjuster is designed to increase the pH of freshwater aquarium water
- It makes freshwater aquariums more alkaline for fish and plants when pH levels fall too low
- Different species of fish need different pH levels to be healthy, so it is important to test the water regularly to ensure pH levels are precise for the wellbeing of your fish
- pH is the measure of acidic or alkaline conditions in water
- A value of 7.0 corresponds to a neutral pH
- A value above 7.0 is considered alkaline
- A value below 7.0 is considered acidic
- Fast-acting
- Colourless
- Easy to use
- Phosphate-free and nitrate-free
- Will not cloud aquarium water or encourage algae growth
Note
- You can use the pH adjuster once daily in your aquarium, but you should always test the pH between doses
- The pH adjuster will not cause any harm to marine aquariums, but it is designed specifically for fine-tuning pH, and is not strong enough to have an effect on marine aquarium levels
- Safe for live plants
- Does not increase KH
Instructions
- Determine the pH of aquarium water with an API pH TEST KIT
- To raise pH, add 1 ml for every 10 gallons (38L) of aquarium water
- Take another pH reading before adding another dose of pH Up pH adjuster
- Some fish may be sensitive to pH adjustments greater than 0.2 in a 24 hour period, so changes of this magnitude should be undertaken with extreme care
Dosing Calculator
- Add 1 ml. for each 10 gallons of aquarium water
