What Is It Used For?

Sentinel Spectrum treats ALL Intestinal worms including Roundworm, Whipworm, Hookworm and Tapeworm.

It treats fleas by preventing the larval stages developing into feeding adults. It does not kill adult fleas. It will take approximately 4 months to reduce the number of adult fleas noticed in the pets’ environment when used in a closed population.

It also prevents Heartworm disease by killing the tissue stages of heartworm.

Once the heartworm moves from the tissues to the blood stream, it may cause a reaction from the worm dying and may result in a blood vessel blockage. Hence the need to Heartworm test dogs which have not been on regular prevention or have missed prevention for more than 60 days.

If overdue by less than 60 days, resume dosing as normal for a minimum of 2 months in a row, then ongoing for life.

If overdue by more than 60 days, speak to your vet as your dog may require a heartworm test.
