What Is Nexgard?

Nexgard contains the active ingredient Alfoxolaner which is highly effective against fleas and ticks. It's a chewable treat made with soy protein and braised beef flavouring and is irresistable to dogs making dosing very easy. Nexgard can be purchased in 3 or 6 pack.

What does Nexgard treat?

Nexgard is very effective at killing adult fleas as well as bush, brown and paralysis ticks on dogs.

It will kill adult fleas within 8 hours, paralysis and brown tick within 48 hours and bush ticks within 72 hours.

For effective year round control of these parasites, Nexgard should be consistently used once per month for life.

How Safe Is Nexgard?

Nexgard can be safely used in puppies from 8 weeks of age and at least 2kg bodyweight.

Safety in breeding and lactating animals has not been established and therefore it is not recommended to use Nexgard in these animals.
