What Is Heartgard Plus?

Heartgard Plus is a delicious chewable treat made of real beef given to your dog once per month.

It is safe in all breeds of dogs when used as directed.

How Does Heartgard Plus Work?

Heartgard plus treats your dog for heartworm, roundworm and whipworm.It does not treat tapeworm and whipworm.

It treats the tissue stages of heartworm only. If you have lapsed Heartgard Plus for longer then 4 months, please consult with your veterinarian.

If under 4 months, continue treatment without interruption for at least 12 months.

Who Can Use Heartgard Plus?

Heartgard Plus can be used in puppies from 6 weeks of age and heartworm negative dogs.

For heartworm prevention in cats, use a product such as Advocate For Cats.

Heartgard Plus is safe to use with a number of other products including tick Collars, flea spot-ons and Intestinal wormers such as Drontal.
