What Is Advantage?

Advantage is a spot-on monthly flea treatment for use in dogs and cats. The active drug Imidacloprid acts on the flea's nervous system to quickly disable their ability to bite your pet.

This is especially useful if your pet suffers from Flea Allergy Dermatitis(FAD), regular treatment with Advantage will help reduce the symptoms of FAD.

How Does It Work?

Advantage starts working within minutes after application onto the skin on the back of the neck.

It stops fleas feeding in 3- 5 minutes after application and can kill adult fleas in as little as 20 minutes.Regular use of this product will break the flea life cycle as it kills immature stages of fleas in the environment.

Better still, it is safe for use in pregnant and lactating animals, providing protection for thier unweaned litters. Dogs and cats over 1.5kg in size and from any age can use this product.

It is safe to use in conjunction with intestinal worm treatments and daily or monthly heartworm prevention treatments.

How Is It Applied?

The pet’s coat must be dry before applying Advantage.Your pet should not be allowed to swim or be shampooed until the Advantage has dried after application to the coat.

Bathing and swimming are not expected to reduce the effectiveness of Advantage providing adequate time has been allowed for drying.

It is recommended to use a soap free shampoo or cleansing product if washing your pet while using Advantage.
