What Is Osteo-Arthritis?

Osteo-arthritis is the degeneration of the cartilage in the joints, leading to pain, muscle wastage and stiffness. This may occur due to injury, infection, wear and tear from hard work or old age. Hereditary conditions such as Hip Dysplasia in dogs may predispose these patients to early onset osteo-arthrtis. 

Osteo-arthritis causes pain, debilitaion, and is a self perpetuating disease. This means, the more arthritis is present, the more it continues to form, leading to fast degeneration of the affected joints. This is why it is best to treat osteo-arthritis as early as possible to slow down or even stop it's progression.

• Athletic and performance horses or dogs

• Older horses or dogs

Is 4CYTE™ Safe?

4CYTE™ Canine and Equine is very safe and does not have a minimum age for use, but it is recommended that both dogs and horses be a minimum of 6 months of age.

4CYTE™ has no known interaction with other medications, supplements or treatments, however it is recommended that a correct diagnosis be sought from your Veterinarian before using this product to ensure full benefits of the product will be achieved. It is not recommended for use in breeding animals unless directed by a Veterinarian.
